Can I train a parakeet like a pigeon?
I have a Bourke's Parakeet. I already know how to train PIGEONS, but do you think it would be possible to train a parakeet to carry small notes over a very short distance? ( 1 mile) I mean, I'm more than sure they're mentally capable of learning, but would they come back like a Homing Pigeon or just fly away? Any of you "parakeet enthusiasts" know any tricks that could help me?

Housing question please help if u can?
Hello from Glasgow. Several years ago I was in the same situation but the flat I rented wasn't as bad as that, I was at the end of a long waiting list but my daughter and her baby lived with me and she was rehoused after 2 years because the privately rented flat was classed as insecure tenancy. Your friend should talk to the council and explain the health problems of living in her flat but if she is given something quickly it might be in an area no one wants to live in. If the council don't have anything for her they will tell her to find a better private flat. Her landlord should fix the problems because of Health & Safety Regulations. I eventually got my council flat after 5 years of private renting. Good Luck
So I'd like to dance?
I would like to get back into dance. I danced when I was younger and I have stayed flexible. I have continued with simple little technique. However, I am seventeen years old now. I am not looking to becoming the prima ballerina, but I've always wanted to just learn the rigor and skills associated with ballet. I'd like to also be able to continue on to pointe one day. However, have I missed the mark due to my age?
Whats a good bike for starting out?
Ok some im 22 and am about 6.1.. Im looking to buy a bike within the next few years maybe even this year. Now as of this second i have zero experience on a bike but before i ever buy one im going to take all the saftey courses that they offer. Now iv heard things like 250cc are great bikes and even to the point that its absolutly not advisable to buy anything over a 250cc. Here is the problem whatever i get im gonna have for a few years and iv heard that 250cc gets bored really fast. The most driving im going to do is in town 30 mph driving to class especially at the begining and i will never do any driving that is stupid such as 100 mph. And im not looking for a cruiser just a sports bike. what cc should i look for that i will be able to enjoy for years and not get bored but still be able to handle. Also eventually im going to buy a Duc 848 how much experience should one have before buying that bike (yes i know the repair and everything is expensive if dropped, money is no issue here) Thanks for the help
The world is unique it can only be the work of a creator?
The similarity between species is explained better by common descent, than by common design. One would expect a designer to go back to the drawing board occasionally, and make a big step change. Evolution cannot do that, which is why the recurrent laryngeal nerve takes its rather circuitous route which no intelligent designer would design.
Will Europe ever get its replacement for the voided Gizmo5? We've had to go back to pigeon post?
Gizmo5 served Europe. It's been ages and Europe is still not back. No similar service brought on line. Are we powerless or unable. Gizmo5 the alternative - Where is it? Thanx. I'm hacked off waiting.
