I Want to go out with an Emo guy..?

Okay well Im not emo ill say im a person who dresses up like the girls from Prima J so ya kinda preppy Im verry funny my friends like rap they dress like there gangster and i told them i wanted to go out with an emo guy and they told me "What if he cuts himslef in front of you" or "what if he tries to cut you?" you know they make jokes about it when im accuatlly very serious.. Alot of the time they dont undertstand me.. So do you think that emo guys just go for emo girls?
