Is an evangelist subject to a pastor according to the Bible?

Never really thought about it before. It doesn't seem clear in the Bible, but I think just common sense says that a guest speaker/evangelist should respect the pastor and the church's schedule when they come visit...if they don't, they probably will never be invited again. I know a lady who visits my church twice a year. I'm pretty sure she doesn't even approve of the direction of our church...meaning she would do things differently...but she still respects the pastors and is careful not to overstep her boundaries...
